The Thing

Not a bad movie. At first i thought it would be a kiddish one as the starting only reveals the life of some teenagers. But as it progressed, the movie became more and more complicated and wide. Not that impressive still though.

Tangled

This is the first movie i watched in UPSI. Jack opened this movie using the uni's projector before Grammar class start.
So real awesome! Like a cinema!
This movie is kinda nice. Ugh...nothing to say about it. Just...cartoon-like-nice.

Insidious

Alright, i've kind of lost track on what movies i've watched since the last time i posted. So, i'm going to post by memory, not in order though. ;)

Watched this show with Jack and Shyma in one of the classroom in B.E. Learning! Awesome time. We turned off all the lights and used the projector to view this movie. Hehe. But after that, got caught by the security guard. :P
Well, this show is a little scary. But watching with friends made things funny.

Didn't have any sort of idea on how this movie will go. So, kinda in awe of the story line.
Love to watch all those different tribes.
I like the part where the main actor helped the trapped lion. It was a brave act. I wonder how many will be brave to take such chances, including me.

Dad bought this movie. I'm not sure why he was so determined to watch this.
Anyway, totally not my cup of tea. There're just too many blasphemy in this and all the wrong teachings of God.
Other than that, the movie is kinda cool.

Pretty hilarious. I like the concept of diary. Very insightful thoughts too.

Will Smith's fish really looks like Will Smith himself. So does Angelina's lips like her lips.

Quite nice this movie. Pretty meaningful in some way of the internet world and people.

Captain America

I thought this was a comedy by just hearing the name of the movie. But when the screen started, i asked Esther, "Uuhh, this is not a comedy?".
Anyway, the feel of this show a bit funny i find. Especially the shield.

Shutter

Mum wanted to watch horror movie so i downloaded this without realising that we has watched this before in our old home. Nevertheless, it's still scary to me.
Oh btw, the main actress really looked like Nicole Kidman.

Public Enemies

Because of my new found love on Johnny Depp, i watched another of his show.
In the beginning of this movie, i couldn't detect where Johnny was! His character again entirely changed.
At last, i found out by his way of moving his head. Perhaps he just couldn't shake of that habit from Pirates of Caribbean.
This movie is pretty sad. At least towards the end.
My rating is 8/10. 

Alice in Wonderland

I fell in love with this movie even though i didn't really like the story of Alice in Wonderland as it was the most creepy children story i find.

I guess its mostly because Johnny Depp is in it! He spiced everything up. Such a good actor. I barely recognize him yet again because of his total change of personality.

3 Idiots

Chee Onn recommended this movie. It was my (i think) second Hindi show.

It is a very funny show. And yet surprisingly a lot of moral storied behind of this.
As Indians always want their children to study engineering, this movie helps to make everyone see that everyone is not the same and thus should follow where their strength is instead of sticking to what is norm.
My rating is 10/10.

Braveheart

An excellent movie indeed. Googled halfway through the movie to find out whether there existed this knight, William Wallace and there was!

The Simpsons Movie

I've never watched The Simpsons drama before but this is hilarious!
Many of the jokes in it were used by my friends without me realising its from this movie!

Despicable Me

Wanted to watch this for some time! Now i know how this story goes! ;)
The yellow characters and the youngest girl are really really cute!!
I've been watching snipets of them without even knowing they're all from this movie.
But well, it's not as hilarious as i found Kung Fu Panda to be.

Crazy Heart

This is not my type of movie i guess.
Too slow and not much of events. Well, still, it helped me to understand more of a life of a less popular singers due to old age.

Interview with the Vampire

Pretty interesting to see both two handsome lads acting as vampires.
Not a bad movie. There're feelings in it.

I love classics! I love the way they converse. I love their rich British accent too!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This had come out for some time but i've never had the urge to watch it until my recent likings on cartoons and comedies! I've also read this story by Roald Dahl 2 months ago and so wanted to get a better picture of it through the movie.
It was cool and good for kids? :P
I wouldn't know that Willy Wonka is Johnny Depp if i didn't check out who the actors were! He was totally changed here.
The plot towards the ending was a little changed. It was more complete or more not child-like compared to the original.
My rating is 9/10.

Atonement

"Oh my gosh." are the exact words i uttered at the end of the movie.
This movie is amazing. Nicely plotted. Sorrowful.. :(
I didn't think, before i watch this movie, that i would give it a 10/10, but here i am.

Kinda cool also. Tom Cruise was wow!

Adaptation

This is one weird movie. In the beginning till the mid, was a lil boring. Yet, the story kept me going somehow.
Until the end, i got what everything means and it was kind of meaningful, i think.

Pretty hilarious. Had absolutely no idea what this movie will be about but dang! Of all stories, a date doctor's?? Haha!

Freedom Writers

This movie is AH-MA-ZING!
I never expected it to be so inspiring! I thought it would be just a boring movie. But wow. And to add on top of everything, this is a REAL LIFE STORY!
Seeing i'll be a teacher next time, i'm really inspired by this movie and amazed by how persevering this lady Erin was and is. I mean i do have the heart and passion to see my students to be successful, to want to change life, but i doubt whether i can really have the ability to do that!
To persevere, to have compassion, to be really dedicated is essential in a teacher.
I pray that i can have that.

This is a really weird movie, at least from the middle of it till the end. I actually am not very sure what's the exact message of this movie.

Out of boredom, i pulled out this movie to watch. Chose a cartoon because i know no one will watch cartoon with me at home.

I watched this with Lilian and Ferlynne in Alamanda. In 3D again which was very worth it.

I love the graphics. The story line was ok also.

I downloaded this movie from the internet and watched twice and are still pretty freaked by it.

The murders were all very gruesome. Well, overall the message was pretty mind-probing one. Kind of disturbing too.
Nevertheless, my rating is 10/10.

Thor

I went to watch with i think Aaron, Gloria, Christina, Ken Ming if im not mistaken, the same day with Kung Fu Panda 2. Movie marathon!

It's not a bad show. Quite a combination of drama. I like the gate guard. Kinda epic.
Well, i remember the ending was a choice given to Thor whether to choose the woman he loved or his nation. The answer is latter. I remember wondering and was in awe of his wise and sacrificial decision.
My rating is 8.5/10.

The Tourist

Another nice show. Well, i watched it twice. Perhaps i just love the atmosphere and the actor actress in it.

Brilliant movie. I love the dialogues in it too! But well, there's a feeling like they wanted to make it a big production, but couldn't reach it.

Kung Fu Panda 2

Recommended strongly by Gloria, we went to watch together with Christina, Aaron and Ken Ming. Indeed, it was funny! No wonder the two sisters could watch the second time.

Because i've watched the 5th Fast and Furious, i wanted to watch the rest of the previous 4.

To my dismay, i prefer the 5th one.

Harry Potter 7 Part 2

I've watched quite some shows in between of the previous post and this post. Well, i couldn't exactly remember the order of when i watched the shows. So i'll just update the ones i remember.
I watched this movie together with Lilian, Ferlynne and Charlene. We watched in 3D. It was my first time with 3D and i found it pretty amazing.

Again, though i fancy the book, i've always not fancy the movie. I feel the actors and actresses are not good in projecting their emotion. There are many parts in the show that really let me down, expectedly. So, i guess, though i really love the story book, i can't give a high rating for the movie.
Rating: 5/10.

Fast & Furious 5 (Fast Five)

I never watched the first 4 of Fast and Furious before. And it was a waste~!
I never thought this movie can be so amazing! Interesting! So cool!
It's not just about cars, which initially i thought it was, but many other elements to it.
Love it!
Anyway, watched this yesterday with High School friends.
My rating is 10/10.

Homecoming

Another comedy, funny! Watched during CNY.
I remembered i laughed like mad. I remembered i couldn't stop laughing until i thought i wouldn't stop forever!

All's Well Ends Well 2011

Pretty hilarious this movie. Of course not to be compared with the previous All's Well Ends Well by Stephen Chow! But i had a good laugh with this movie too. Except the more dirty part. Lol.
I don't know why the IMDb gave such a low rating to this movie but i'll give it a 7/10.

127 Hours

I like true stories, and i guess this is one of them.

Pretty interesting. Well, some may not like it, but i find this movie worth watching!

Watched it in Kuching too, the same day with that "I am Number 4". Glad that i was not disappointed with this movie. If not, double blow!

Though it has a simple story line, and that's one of the challenge, the director managed to show how much agony it was for a person to be stuck in a hole for 127 hours. Epic.

I could almost feel together with the actor in it.

One incident about this movie, Chee Onn vomited when the guy cut his hand. Funny!

My rating is 8/10.

I am Number Four

This show didn't leave any impression on me. Except that i watched this in Kuching with the rest of Empower.
Couldn't remember how the storyline goes but i can say i was pretty not enjoying myself by it.
It was badly filmed and the story line, i remember, is a bit funny.

Law Abiding Citizen

Interesting movie. A bit gross though.

It's not as smart as Prison Break. A bit psycho the main actor somehow.

Ans i don't really like the ending.  I don't know. Maybe i just don't like main actors to die.

The Devil Wears Prada

I'd always thought this movie is like a show where fashion+jealousy+arguments+cat fight+alotofsex comes together. I didn't know its that decent and meaningful in a way? But i'm not sure why is it so popular.

It is a nice show. But not that big production. Just normal. A story. Not bad though. Reminds me of Ugly Betty. Hehe.

Aftershock

Amazing movie. Very touching. Very real.

Movie productions from China always impress me. Wide scale filming. Excellent actors and actresses. I can really feel the suffer of the people back then through this movie. Now i kind of understanding how earthquake really is. Staying in a country where most natural disasters don't affect, i do not really see how is it like in "real life". The choices some of them have to make in order to have the highest possibility of survival.
